Services for Garland Edward Jones, 52, of Jonesville, who died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, in Alexandria, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wallace Ridge Penecostal Church in Jonesville, with the Rev. Norris Poole officiating. Burial will be in Heard Cemetery in Manifest under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville. Mr. Jones was born Oct. 31, 1948, in Jonesville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. O. D. Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ted Allen Jones. Survivors include two brothers, Daniel Ray Jones of Jonesville and Jessie Knight Jones of Savannah, Ga.; two stepbrothers, Johnny Dunn of Oklahoma City and Robert Dunn of Jonesville; six sisters, Kattie Sue Jones of Baker, Peggy Frunty of Vidalia, Betty Dunn of Jonesville, Mary E. Jones of Jonesville, Carolyn Squyres of Sicily Island and Nell D'Antoni of Zachary. Pallbearers will be Chris Barnes, Billy Joe McMillin, Carl Jones Jr., Roger Jones, Allen Jones and John Wayne Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Wade and Jeff Lofton.
