      Cheryl was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1946. She has two sisters, Janice and Linda and two brothers, Gary and Dan. Her family moved to Oregon where she graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1964.
      In 1973, Cheryl met her husband Russ Johnson. They were married on May 3rd 1975 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
      In 1980, they had their first child, Brittnie followed by their son Brandon two years later.
      In 1982 Russ and Cheryl moved to Alaska where they lived in Wasilla and came back to Oregon in 1988.
      They resided in Tigard, Oregon until they moved to the Aloha/Beaverton area in 1995.
      Cheryl passed away in her home, surrounded by her family on December 29th, 2010. She was laid to rest on January 4th at Mountain View Memorial Gardens mausoleum in Forest Grove.
      She is survived by her Russell Johnson, daughter Brittnie, son Brandon and father Leonard Klepel.
