Anna Lyng (1881-1962) was the daughter of Norwegian immigrants. She married Jacob Henry Rasmusson Davick the fifth child of Rasmus Pederson Davick(1839 - 1896) and Kari Abrahamsdatter Lien (1837 -1893). He was born in Davik, On April 12, 1886 and emigrated from Bergen, Norway to NYC on the Tingvalla Line (ship) with his parents and two other siblings.
Anna and Jacob had three daughters all of whom moved west.

2. Adeline J. Davick born abt 1913 in North Dakota
3. Gertrude N Davick born abt 1917 in North Dakota
Jacob homesteaded in Mountrail County near Coulee, ND where he owned a quarter of land near his brother, Peder Davick's, homestead. He farmed for a while, but then moved back to Clinton. There he helped get the country school started and was perhaps a teacher.
