Amy D. Anderson, 92, of Duluth, died July 30, 2003. She was born in Glencoe, Minn., on Aug. 24, 1910 to Carl and Ida (Amundson) Enerson. Amy had attended St. Olaf college and had graduated from the Minnesota School of Business. She had taught at the Business College in Detroit Lakes, Minn. She had resided in Mound, Minn., from 1945 until 1975 at Jesse Lake, until 1998, and Duluth for the past five years. She had worked for the Village Manager of the City of Mound as a Secretary for many years. She had been a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Mound, Minn., Jesse Lake Lutheran Church, and Zion Lutheran Church in Duluth. Amy was preceded in death by her husband Carl Anderson in 1977. She is survived by her sons Verlin (Barbara) Anderson of Mount Dora, Fla. and Alan (Alice) Anderson of Duluth; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. VISITATION:Noon until the 1 p.m. Funeral Service, Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, in Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Mound, Minn.
