Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 23, at Matagorda Cemetery for Mrs. Cora Louise Ellis, 92, who died Sept. 18 in Houston.
Mrs. Ellis, a native of Matagorda, is survived by three daughters, Mrs. L. C. Knelsey Sr. and Mrs. C. L. Jolly, both of Houston, Mrs. E. E. McNaughton, Dallas; three sons, Clyde and Robert Ellis Housto; Melton Ellis, Seguin; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie McNabb, and Lyda Moberly, and brother Collins Baxter, all of Matagorda; 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren.
Rev. George Dent of Houston will conduct the services.
