      He was the son of George W Gartman and Emily Ann Miller. He married Isabell Miller (1870-1898)on Sept 23 1886. They had John Otis Gartman (1895-1978). Isabell died in 1898 and Thomas married Lucy Stringfellow Jan 7 1905. They had William W Gartman (1888-1963). His death record states that he is buried in Lambert Cemetery, although there is no headstone with his name on it there. However, there are many unmarked graves in that cemetery.
