William is survived by a son, William D. Often and wife, Cynthia of Dillsburg; a daughter, Charamye V. Often of Paris, Tenn.; a granddaughter, Heidi M. Pyper Jackson; and a great-grandson, Dresden V. Often; two brothers, Charles V. Often, Jr. of Palm Coast, FL and Christian F. Often of Westminster, Md.; and a sister, Charlene Kay Foster. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia A. Miller.
