Virginia Lee Fitzgerald Purvis was born October 10, 1947 in Dallas,TX and passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in Katy, TX. She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Dillard Fitzgerald and mother, Shirley Mae Williams Fitzgerald; son, Steven David Durham. Virginia is survived by her sister, Patricia Lynn Fitzgerald; son, John Fitzgerald Durham; niece, Michelle Lee Hellnick and husband Klaus Werner Hellnick; grandsons, Cody Fitzgerald Durham and wife Catie Durham, John Mathew Fitzgerald Durham; granddaughter, Madelaine Mae Durham; great-grandchildren, Carson Durham and Noah Durham. She was full of life, love and creativity. She will be missed by many. Service to be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 6803 Grovecrest St., Houston, TX 77092. Reception to follow at the home of Lynn Fitzgerald.
