Winnie Catherine Rugeley, 92, died Wednesday in a Wichita Falls nursing home.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fain Presbyterian Church with Dr. Earle Crawford, Pastor, Emeritus, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home..
Mrs. Rugeley was born Jan 24, 1904, in Bay City, Texas. She studied music at a community college in Rusk, Texas. She and Stanley Robbins Rugeley were married May 16, 1923. They moved to Wichita Falls in the late 1920's. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross and the Gray Ladies during World War II. She was involved in the Presbyterian Women's Organization of First Southern and Fain Presbhyterian churches, where she served as organist for 35 years.
Survivors include a son, Stanley Philip Rugeley of Wichita Falls; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 2208 Miramar.
