William "Bill" Hinson was born on May 21, 1943; he passed away on December 31, 2022 in St. Augustine, Florida.

Known to many as "Mr. Bill," his first job was driving a school bus when he was in high school. He later joined the Air Force and served his country for four years. During that time, he met the love of his life, Brenda Sabrsula. They married in 1966. After his Honorable Discharge in 1968, Bill began his 53-year career as a meat cutter. During his career, he worked for several of the larger supermarkets we all know.

Some of Bill's love in life was anything that included cars. He was a huge NASCAR AND NHRA fan. He loved cutting grass on his John Deere mower, and he never met a gasoline engine he couldn't fix.

Preceded in death are Bill's parents, Leonard and Frances; his wife, Brenda; and his granddaughter, Mailory King.

Bill's survivors include his daughters, Beverly (John Jund), and Cindy (Craig King); his sisters, Mary Lou (Rayvon Bowles) and Sandra (Gary Thompson); and his grandson, Alex Yamao.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Hartsville Cemetery in Wallis.
