Rudolph Knutson, 92, of Swift Falls, died Thursday, Dec. 16 at the Swift County Benson Hospital.
Funeral services were 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 20, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Swift Falls, with Pastor Brandenburg officiating.
Burial was in St. Pauli Cemetery.
Rudolph R. Knutson was born June 19, 1918 in Camp Lake Township, Swift County, Minnesota, the son of Robert R. and Bertha (Strand) Knutson. He was baptized and confirmed by Rev. Beito at St. Pauli Lutheran Church. Rudolph grew up on the family farm in Camp Lake Township and attended school at District #14. He farmed his entire life.
Rudolph was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Swift Falls.
Among the things he enjoyed were mowing the yard, watching the birds and cars, cooking, going to the movies at the DeMarce Theatre, Norwegian food, and he was a good listener.
Rudolph is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Freese of Benson; three nieces and one nephew.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert and Bertha; his twin brother Bennie; and sisters: Rose Skarsten, Alma Lundquist, Gena Johnson and Ruth Svor.
