Kathryn Boland, 59, of Gainesville, passed away on April 16, 2016.
Born in Minneapolis, MN on March 28, 1957, she was the daughter of the late James Carter Thompson and Beverly Ford Thompson. Kathryn was employed as the Financial Secretary at Dacula First United Methodist Church.
Kathryn is survived by her husband, David Scott Boland; son, Justin Ford Boland; son, Jason Banks Boland, daughter in law, Lisa McMahan Boland.
Kathy was one of six children, James Thompson, brother of Dallas TX, Margret Thompson - sister in law of Dallas TX, Jackie Chamberlin, sister, of Dallas TX, George Chamberlin, brother in law of Dallas TX, Susan Paris, sister (deceased) of Reading PA, Steve Paris, brother in law of Reading PA, David Thompson, brother (deceased), William Thompson, brother of Lawrenceville GA, Cindy Thompson, sister in law of Lawrenceville GA; Cailey Lynn Thompson, granddaughter, Abby Grace McMahan, granddaughter, Maddox David Boland, grandson, Ella Kathryn Boland, granddaughter.
A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2016 in the Chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Elliott and Rev. Hugh Shirley will officiate. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Sunday, April 24th from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
