      Deceased Name: RAMON M. REIERSON

      A memorial service for Ramon M. Reierson of Scappoose, a retired chemist for Shell Chemical Co., will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Bethany Lutheran Church in Warren.
      He died Saturday in a Portland hospital of complications from multiple sclerosis. Mr. Reierson was 60.
      He was born Dec. 5, 1933, in Kenmare, N.D. He moved to the Portland area in 1942 and was a graduate of Portsmouth Grade School and Roosevelt High School. He earned his bachelor's degree from Pacific Lutheran University in 1955 and married Janet Geldaker on July 14, 1956.
      Mr. Reierson worked for Shell Chemical Co. for a number of years until his retirement because of disability in 1972. He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Warren.
      Survivors in addition to his wife include his sons, David of Chandler, Ariz., Philip of West Linn and Tim of Yakima; mother, Inga Reierson of Portland; sister, Carolyn Anderson of Mundelein, Ill.; brother, Larry of Bremerton, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
      Private burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.
      The family suggests remembrances be contributions to Bethany Lutheran Church, the Diabetes Association of Oregon or to the Oregon chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
