Mark Steven Wedwick was born in Viroqua to Raymond & Marilyn (Gardner) Wedwick. He was confirmed at Franklin Lutheran Church & graduated from Viroqua High School in 1985. He served in the Army for 2 years & was stationed in South Carolina & Georgia. He attended WWTC in La Crosse in 1988-89 & worked for Dundee Cement & United Auto in La Crosse. He currently was employed at Nelson Muffler in Viroqua. Mark died on Sunday from injuries received in a traffic accident in Sterling Township. He is survived by his fiancee, Dawn Crapser, 2 sons, Keegan & Brandon, his parents, Raymond & Marilyn Wedwick all of Viroqua, 1 brother, Corey Wedwick of Milwaukee, 1 sister, Kristi (Craig) Fortun of Westby, nieces, Emily Fortun & Alicia Oliver, maternal grandmother, Myrtle Gardner of Viroqua, paternal grandparents, Peter & Lois Wedwick of Viroqua, uncles, Al Gardner of Viroqua, Kelly (Goldie) Gardner of Viola, & Maynard (Mary Ann) Wedwick of Genoa, special aunt, Susie Wedwick of Westby, cousins, friends, & Dawn's family, her parents, John & Judy Crapser, her brother, Tim (Mikki) Crapser & children, Taylor & Michael of Viroqua, her sister, Jodi (John) Priebe & children, Alexia & Hunter of La Crosse. His maternal grandfather, Alvin J. Gardner, & 1 cousin, Kurt Wedwick, preceded Mark in death. Mark was an avid sportsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, archery, boating, & his special black lab "Hoot".
