Fort Bend Herald, March 21, 2024:
Funeral services for Joe Louis Anderson, 92 of Needville, TX, are set for 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2024, at Saint Paul's Presbyterian Church, 9122 Church Street, Needville, TX 77461, with Dr. Nora Fitch and officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. (One hour prior to the service). Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Parr, Joshua Parr, Nick Parr, Joseph Anderson, Jr., Blake Anderson, and Rocky Parr. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Rainosek, Justin Grudziecki, Raynor Kumaga, and Terry McNeil.
Joe was born on March 17, 1932 to Louis and Cecelia Borowiak Anderson in Addicks, TX. He died March 18, 2024 in Richmond, TX. He served his country in the military. He retired from Fort Bend County Road and Bridge after 39 years. Joe spent most of his life raising cattle and enjoying working on his ranch and hunting in Brady, TX. He was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church in Rosenberg, TX and then Saint Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville, TX where he and his wife Charlene were married.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene, of 63 years; parents, Louis and Cecelia Anderson; along with his 4 siblings, Standle Anderson, Steve Anderson, Martha Huffman, and Mary Lee Grawnoski.
Survivors include his children, Diana Parr and husband, Maurice, Jeanne Parr, Joseph Anderson and wife, Melissa, and Steve Dernehl and wife, Shirley; 9 grandchildren, Brandon Parr and wife, Heidi, Joshua Parr, Amanda Anderson and significant other, Terry McNeil, Ashley Rainosek and husband, Jeff, Lauren Grudziecki and husband, Justin, Jackie Kumaga and husband, Raynor, Nick Parr and wife, Amanda, Joseph Anderson Jr. and wife, Whitney, and Blake Anderson and wife, Lea; 10 great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jackson Rainosek, Collin Grudziecki, J. R. Parr, Kinsley and Wyatt Parr, Raleigh and Reece Kumaga, and Audrey and Easton Anderson.
Memorial donations may be given in his memory to Saint Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville, TX.
