DAVID MAHAVIER
"David Henry Mahavier, age 74, of Spring and formerly of Wharton, died Sunday March 11, 2012, at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in Newgulf, a son of the late James Arthur Mahavier and Alelia Foster Otto Mahavier.

David enjoyed traveling to historical missions in Texas and was a member of the Sons of the Republic, the Texas Army, the Sons of the American Revolution and the Bodo Otto Association. David was active in historical reenactments throughout the state of Texas. He was also a member of the Woodlands Art League and was associated with the Water Color Art Society of Houston.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Arthur Mahavier Jr.
