Visitation for Robert Charles Ford of Bellingham will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Westford Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Bayview Cemetery and a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.
Mr. Ford died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at his home. He was 73.
Born Feb. 15, 1927, to Charles and Esther (Benseth) Ford in Bellingham, he was a lifetime Whatcom County resident. Mr. Ford graduated from Bellingham High School in 1945.
During World War II, he served in the Maritime Service. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
On Aug. 14, 1953, he married Dolores J. Hayden in Bellingham.
Mr. Ford retired as a sales representative from Cascade Natural Gas after 25 years of service.
Mr. Ford was a member of Elks Lodge No. 194 and Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.He enjoyed University of Washington football.
Survivors include his wife of Bellingham daughters Susan Burgraff of Bellingham and Lori Brown of Rialto, Calif. brother Warren Ford of Bellingham and five grandchildren.
