      Evelyn Bjornson, 86, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., formerly of Thief River Falls, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 1995.

      Evelyn Larson was born Jan. 27, 1909, on a farm near Thief River Falls, the daughter of Krist and Elma (Jacobson) Larson. She married Fred Bjornson and lived in Vista, Calif., before moving to Fort Walton Beach eight years ago. She was active in community and church organizations and activities.

      She is survived by a son, B.J., Fort Walton Beach; grandchildren, Laura Bjornson, Gainesville, Fla., and David Bjornson, Destin, Fla.; five great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren, Capt. Skip Blumenthal, San Antonio, Katie Slatken, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Chris Blumenthal, Fort Walton Beach; sisters, Elsie Capp, Lodi, Calif., Alpha Borgie, Sunland, Calif., and Violet Olson, Thief River Falls.

      She was preceded in death by her husband.

      Services:Were in Florida. Memorials are preferred to Bethany Lutheran Church, Box 157, Goodridge, Minn. 56725-0157.
