Gary graduated from Boling High School in 1971. Following high school he attended Southwest Texas State University. He was employed at Centerpoint Energy as a Master Technician for 42 years. Survivors include his wife, Dale Joan Hobbs Smith; two children; four grandsons; two brothers; many other loving family members and friends.
